The "movement worship" ministry of Calvary Christian Center exists for the purpose of encouraging the congregation to give praise and honor to the Lord through non-verbal communication.

We believe in the power of body language. The posture of our bodies during times of worship is an outward expression of our inward adoration. Therefore, sometimes we stand, sometimes we kneel and there are even times when it is appropriate to prostrate ourselves before God. To express our joy to God, we can be seen raising our hands, clapping our hands and even dancing before Him. Dance is an integral part of the worship "mix" right along with the singing and playing musical instruments

Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary;

Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;

Praise Him with the lute and the harp!
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;

Praise Him with the stringed instruments and flutes

Praise Him with Loud cymbals;

Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord

It is our desire to demonstrate the expression of worship through spontaneous dance and flag worship, but we also feature choreographed presentations in our worship services and at other special events. You will be blessed by these worshipers in our meetings - you can participate as well!
