So you've been through the guest center, read all about Calvary Christian Center and have decided to take the next step and visit Calvary Christin Center. This bring to light a whole new set of questions.
We at CCC understand that when it comes to visiting a church, it can be tough emotionally. It's almost like starting a new high school in a new city. You. Don't Know. Anyone. Here is what to expect when visiting CCC.
- Our services start at 10:00 a.m. and typically last between an hour to an hour and a half
- People tend to arrive to church between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. (if you get there earlier you will be listening to the music team as they rehearse)
- We all dress differently. For example it's not unusual to see someone in a 3-piece suit sitting right next to someone in a T-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes. Come comfortable. Please use your interpretation of comfortable. Whether you feel like a million bucks in a 3-piece suit or just want to take it easy with your favorite pair of jeans, wear what you like.
- Be prepared to sing and maybe even do a little dance! Our music team is a talented team of musicians and singers who enjoy (and even encourage) crowd participation.
- If you have children, this part is for you. Children stay in the main sanctuary until offering. Children are dismissed to Kid's Super Church as offering is being taken.
- Upon arrival you will be warmly welcomed by one of our greeters who then will introduce you to our usher. The usher will take you to your seat.
- After all is said and done and the last prayer is said: We offer free refreshments at the back of the church as well as a chance to mingle and meet some of the church members. We suggest you visit our "Meet our Staff" page so that you can recognize a familiar face when you visit.
In a nutshell, be expecting real people who are in love with Jesus and who love to get together and talk about Him.
