Children are our most precious posession. They are our hope for the future, but the future is quite dim if we do not prepare a strong population of Christians to do lead the way.
That's where the Kid's Super Church ministry at Calvary Christian comes into play. Our purpose is to introduce our children to the love of God and to instill godlly values in them. Kid's Super Church is a fun-filled program for children. Children are dismissed during offering and taken to the Sunday School room where the fun begins! With an innovative approach and fresh materials, children are taught how to pray, read their Bibles, and moral values.
What we are studying now:
Go with me back to a time where swords clashed and armor was the outfit of choice. A time and a place in the kingdom of Israel. There were three distintive kings of historic importance. By looking at King Saul we will learn the importance of humility in our relationship with God. The Bible describes King David as being a man after God's own heart. So we are going to study how habits and the attitude changes can keep us un God's will. King Solomon is touted about as the wisest man to ever live, he will help us to understand that when we respect God, He will bring us honor, wisdom and riches.
Under the direction of Randy Blankenchip, the Kids Super Church has prospered greatly! Throughout the year we take advantage of holidays and other special occasions to hold events for our children, making the church an integral part of their social calenders. These special times are a variety of indoor, outdoor, and sesonal events that are always exciting and something that children eagerly plan for.
